Thankful and Hopeful in this Weird, Crazy Year!
Fall and Thanksgiving have always been my favorite time of year, but this year has been beyond challenging!. I’ve hosted our family celebration every November for more than 25 years. Inviting anyone and everyone who was alone or had no place or family to go to for this special holiday meal.
But this year was very different; just my husband, our three daughters, and Roger, our dog, sat at the table.
I can’t say it was terrible because it was just the opposite. We carved out special moments for each other that I’ve never experienced before in years past. And I will ALWAYS remember that time going forward.
One thing I realized during this crazy year…It’s okay to be perfectly imperfect and open your heart up to change. See the light, be the laughter and love with all your heart are the things you have control over.
